Description
Wanted to do an illustration based on childhood memories gathering mushrooms in the autumn with my family.
Also brings back a story from when I was little. We were gathering mushrooms with my family and on the way back decided to go trough a field of grass. The grass at that point was at least twice or even three times taller than me. It was a struggle, but a great adventure. At some point I tripped and fell. When I got up I saw that I tripped on the biggest mushroom I had ever seen. At that point It was stool sized for me. I was so happy to find something so cool by accident, sadly It was rotten.. and we moved on.

I never liked gathering mushrooms... I didn't mind searching for them, I was even quite good at it, but then I always waited for someone to pick it for me because it's so slime and organic
Like one of these dogs trained to search for truffles, I might say.
Nice layer perspective on this pic, very autumn-y look. Just be careful with these shrooms, they may be toxic and/or hallucinogenic~
